When you visit our website for information about our law firm and our expertise, we will only collect those personal data in log files that your browser communicates to our server. This includes the type of web browser, the operating system being used, the domain name of your internet service provider, the IP address of the computer you are using, the web page you are visiting us from, the web pages you are visiting and the date and duration of your visit. We require this information for technical purposes so that we can display our website to you and are able to guarantee its stability and safety. The legal basis is stipulated in Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR. In this context, the data is analysed only for statistical purposes and only in a pseudonymised form. We will not disclose such data to third parties.

This page uses the map service Google Maps. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. To use Google Maps it is necessary to store your IP address. This information is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Mainlaw Rechtsanwälte has no influence on this data transmission. The use of Google Maps is in the interest of making our office easy to find. This represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f European General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR). - Rights of the data subject
The data subject:
- has the right, in accordance with Art. 15 GDPR, to obtain from the controller confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning him or her are being processed, namely about the purposes of the processing, the categories of personal data concerned, the recipients or categories of recipient to whom the personal data have been or will be disclosed, the envisaged period for which the personal data will be stored, the existence of the right to request from the controller rectification or erasure of personal data or restriction of processing of personal data concerning the data subject or to object to such processing, the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority and, where the personal data are not collected from the data subject, any available information as to their source.
- has the right to obtain from the controller without undue delay the rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning him or her. Taking into account the purposes of the processing, the data subject shall have the right to have incomplete personal data completed, including by means of providing a supplementary statement (Art. 16 GDPR);
- has the right to obtain from us the erasure of your personal data that we have stored, unless the processing of this data is necessary for exercising the right of freedom of expression and information or for compliance with a legal obligation or for reasons of public interest or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims (Art. 17 GDPR);
- has the right to obtain from the controller restriction of processing if he or she contests the accuracy of the personal data, if the processing is unlawful and he or she opposes the erasure of the personal data or we no longer need the personal data for the purposes of the processing, but they are required by the data subject for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims or the data subject has objected to processing pursuant to Article 21(1) pending the verification whether the legitimate grounds of the controller override those of the data subject (Art. 18 GDPR);
- has the right to receive the personal data concerning him or her which he or she has provided to a controller, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and have the right to transmit those data to another controller (Art. 20 GDPR);
- has the right to withdraw his or her consent at any time in accordance with Art. 7 (3) GDPR. The withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal;
- has the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in accordance with Art. 77 GDPR, namely the authority of his or her habitual residence or place of work or at our firm’s residence.
- Right to object
The data subject shall have the right to object, on grounds relating to his or her particular situation, at any time to processing of personal data concerning him or her which is based on point (e) or (f) of Article 6(1).
- Data security
Within the website visit we use the common SSL method (Secure Socket Layer) in connection with the highest encryption level supported by your browser. In general, this is 256-bit encryption. If your browser does not support 256-bit encryption, we deploy 128-bit v3 technology. You can see if an individual page of our website is transmitted in encrypted form from the closed form of the key/lock symbol in the lower status bar of your browser.
We also use suitable technical and organization measures in order to protect your data against accidental or deliberate manipulation, partial or full loss, destruction and against unauthorized third-party access. Our security measures are improved on an ongoing basis in line with the state of the art.
